Careers

Build something that matters. With people who know how.

Valion Bio is a clinical-stage immunotherapeutics company working on problems that range from cancer supportive care to national biodefense. We hire people who are rigorous, curious, and comfortable with the pace of a company moving multiple programs through late-stage development.

Why Valion Bio

We are small enough that every hire materially changes what we can do, and we are late-stage enough that the work is real. Our lead asset has been administered to more than 300 humans and is approaching regulatory submission. Our manufacturing subsidiary, Velocity Bioworks, is producing at commercial-grade scale. Our collaborators include BARDA, NIAID, the Department of War, and major academic medical centers.

We are not a company that tells people what to work on and waits for a result. We are a company that hires people who can see what needs to be done and go do it.

Where We Work

Valion Bio and Velocity Bioworks operate from facilities in the United States, with a biomanufacturing footprint in San Antonio, Texas. Specific roles may be onsite, hybrid, or remote depending on function and responsibility.

What We Look For

Across research, clinical operations, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and corporate functions, the common thread is the same:

  • Technical rigor. Claims are supported; assumptions are tested.
  • Ownership. People who see a gap and close it, without waiting to be asked.
  • Clarity. People who can explain what they are doing and why, to audiences ranging from bench scientists to institutional investors.
  • Integrity. The work we do matters — in oncology, in biodefense, in the supply chain for federal countermeasures. We hire accordingly.
